1937 GMC RAT ROD BUILDUP
23rd October 2008
cpmotors asked:
Like it a staff of reason on new. If you follow along like Scott Graves sketch, and installs another Spaà Hot Rod from 1937 GMC Pick UP produces. Power originates from 1962 235 Inline-6, mates to a S10 T5, and sends it to a pair aligned by 7.50-17 BF Goodrich tire by the 3/08 rearend. Everything was, manufactured in that its Geschäft range sees you with only a few fundamental tools.

Hey. great build.
I plan to start building in the fall.
I have a few questions.
first of all, can you use your trucks original frame and just channel the body?
And is it street legal? if it is, what did you have to do to make it that way?
thanks,
poorboy

It does have a bed on it now, the photos in the slideshow are from 2006. I should add some photos with the updates to the website.
The grill shell is the orginal ‘37 I believe, the axle is a ‘51. The frame he custom built.

The most small 110v powered welders can weld upto 316 thick steel at the most so that could be limitation.

He trimmed the bottom off but only talked about doing the top. I think he’s a little bored with it now and looking to sell it and build the next one.
