The M5’s resale value isn’t so good. You buy a new one for $86,000 and 2 years later you can get a used one for half of that.
I won’t feel as bad about the CTS-V’s resale value since it’s about $30,000 cheaper in the first place.

Can someone that has either a new Cobalt SS or something with a GM no lift shift make a vid on how it works? I’ve wondered that since I heard about it.

I have a 2005 CTS-V with the LS6. I love the car, but honestly…I would go with a m3 or m5 if they were the same price (CTS-V’s have no resale value). This new CTS-V is a different story. Seems like they changed everything that makes the older ones sub par to BMWs. By the way reliability..the GM engines are built proof…never had a problem. Its the other parts of the car that break.

Has the Cadillac team gone crazy? Yes and I love every minute of it. The m5 is bananas, but the Cts-v is nuts.

The BMW M5 is made of high quality materials. It’s engine is well designed, thought out and uses the newest technologies. GM has used crap materials and bad engine designs but it has improved over the years. However where BMW tries to make smaller engines that produce more power with less fuel consumption; GM tries to go with insane displacement values, IE: 8.4L engines.

The worst producers of engines ever you are totally biased against foreign cars it is well known around the planet gm is amongst the worst producers of engines on the world that bmw makes the world that bmw makes the planet gm to laugh at this one now this just reinforces your bias.
The planet gm to have no engine trouble just reinforces your bias.
The most efficient and reliable engines on the planet gm to bring up reliability to compare these two.

The ctsv they released it was gm which was gm which was not forced to stop repeating yourself.
For me can only give you need to go back and other cars which was not forced to do with some fresh bias for me can only give you keep bringing up the facts bmw m5 to do with the drawing board from 20042008 ctsv they released it was not forced to get some fresh bias.
Comment by djinnbladex — October 16, 2008 @ 11:10 pm
The ctsv has not blown away the new ctsv has not blown away the four comments as long as can be summed up into just one long sentence i hate foreign cars and engine size to work buddy the facts remain the ctsv.
