  6. Top video! I was a regular visitor in the 80s (a friend raced Bombers there) but don’t remember much about the track as it was. It’s very different to the current Fig 8 layout and high safety fence. I do the track photography there now (buxtonracepix) and a few bits of video - links on the website.
    Don’t know if it’s the camera angle but those Escorts look mighty quick; maybe the shortening of the corner has made a big difference.
    A real treat to see this video - nice one!
